Somehow I felt this drawing didn't take as long as it should've since I was encouraged and fueled up to do this.

Either way, this is my take on a busty pirate-lady character, simply known as Chinatsu. I created her as a tribute to *Randommode's Pirate Madeline smash hit webcomic series, which stars a similar character.

Keep in mind I have nothing against RM's webcomic, I just love the lead female of said series, especially her loincloth and the ability to pull off adorable kicks with those grand legs she has. 0v0.

Adding additional details to avoid further confusion:

Chinatsu was meant to be dedicated to Randommode's designs in his series, not be a downright clone of his lead character as well as take down the origin of said character (ever heard of Rosenkreuzstilette?). While both characters share some clothing styles, though in different colors, and similar fighting skills (guns and kicking), both characters have different personalities. Chinatsu is a red-haired anti-hero that is really snooty and slutty, only working for anyone with a large sum of money, and mistreats her henchmen and henchwomen, and has no non-human companions accompanying her, and is working for a psychic sailor on a huge cruise ship. Madeline, on the other hand, is the main blonde protagonist, simply working for herself, has long hair, does not use her sexuality to her advantage, has a loincloth instead of short leather jeans, steals hats by swooping in and biting them off, has a male best friend (at least to my knowledge they seem like best friends), and two companions: a skeleton, and a turtle.

If I must reveal more of the truth, a few months ago perhaps to be more specific the beginning of the year, I was all prepared to ask if I could have Madeline cameo multiple times as a guest character in my series, but I never bothered with it because I'd thought he'd get upset because my series is not as pro as his (plus the story I was making would be somewhat out of context, with a character normally a good guy being a neutral instead). Since then, Chinatsu was a way for me being able to just create a character myself from scratch rather than bribe RM into allowing me to use the characters he worked so hard on and have since been praised to death. Plus, the whole idea of a busty pirate being in a work of mine has been going around since January '09, because of games like Wario Land: Shake It and Zach & Wiki. Madeline just inspired me further to finally implement such character into a series of mine, since his works have seen a great amount of success, and I'm entirely fine with it.

If anyone wants to complain, go ahead. But I must warn you I will have my best defenses up and prepared to write a novel describing more about Chinatsu and her origins, and more differences between her and Madeline.

Okay, back to the picture before I got too out-of hand.

I ran into some minor troubles, mainly with the lineart (and by minor I meant they were fixed, though some I don't think anyone would care about.) I know I'm not the best when it comes to drawing shoes/boots, though I certainly did try to make them look as pleasing as possible, and I tried to make the supports on Chinatsu's boots strong, able to withstand any weight and pressure. And incase you're wondering about that handgun attached to the back of her pants, yes, that is a handgun.
