Disregard this journal, I was able to get it to work by entering my credit card directly.

So yeah I'm now officially stripped of my Core Membership status thanks to several technical failures of the site. I can't apparently contact the deviantART help desk because help.deviantart.com/contact gives me no option to submit a ticket. #QualitySiteDesign at it's finest.

Earlier this year I tried purchasing a 12-month extension to my Premium Membership that I thought would be added directly onto my old one like I always used to do with no problems, spent the $50, and it didn't work. At first I thought it would just automatically process the order once the core membership died since it said "rebilling", which it didn't do. So I tried purchasing 4000:points: points and buying a membership via points and...
  • You already have a subscription with re-billing. Please cancel it first.
So I go to cancel it and...
  • You are not currently signed up for automatic rebilling on your Core Membership. If you would like to turn on automatic rebilling, please buy a rebilling Core Membership.
It also says "PayPal bank account transfers may take 5-15 days to process." despite pretty much all my payments made via Paypal up to the point have been 100% instant, and only through this very special occasion does it decide to have a brainfart and delay the purchase, if it did go through at all that is. And the instructions it gives to disable the automatic billing via Paypal at FAQ #825: How do I cancel my rebilling Core Membership? are also misleading since there is no "Profile" button at the top of the page when logged into Paypal.

If anyone out there reads this, I really need your help, since the staff at dA has made the system admittedly worse ever since they decided to change it from Premium to Core membership, with no apparent way of adding onto an existing membership (or as they call it, doing a Prepaid membership) or even doing a "Till Hell Freezes Over" membership.

I can't get this to work at all. I write in all of my credit card information and it says, "Autobill not created." When I try PayPal or points, it says, "You already have a subscription with re-billing. Please cancel it first." I try to cancel it in my settings, but it says the exact same thing as what your's said: "You are not currently signed up for automatic rebilling on your Core Membership. If you would like to turn on automatic rebilling, please buy a rebilling Core Membership." How can I cancel something that I can't cancel??

I honestly don't know what to do. The DA help desk is just acting like there's a problem with my payment.
